This storytelling approach is all about being seen—not staged. More and more families (and couples) are leaning into sessions that feel real, relaxed, and rooted in their everyday lives.

A session can take place anywhere your story unfolds — at home, in your backyard, a local state park, your favorite corner in town, or even on the shore of South Padre Island. I also have a handful of my own go-to locations, if you would like a recommendation. The idea is in the name: to capture an honest glimpse of your family’s world, just as it is right now. It’s about your people, doing their thing, as they are!

The beauty is in the little things—the way your kids pile onto the couch, the rhythm of your morning routine, watering the plants in the front yard, reading, having a full on dance party in the living room, going on a nature walk, or visiting the beach. These are activities and settings that will provoke moments that hold feeling.

theSHORE

The shore and sand dunes make a captivating scene for couple photography. From intimate, romantic stills to freeze frames of water splashing and playfulness, this session is for those who aren’t afraid to get sandy and a little bit wet.

Just take a peak at any gallery from a beach session, and it is no wonder why this style of session is so popular.

Sessions at South Padre Island can be scheduled at sunrise or sunset.

The session includes 60 minutes of shooting, unlimited photos (individually edited, high resolution, in color and black&white), and print release on all photos.

theOUTDOORS

Whether it be for a downtown, urban aesthetic adventure or a stroll in a sunset- facing, open field of greenery…

An outdoor session can be scheduled at sunset on most weekday evenings or on weekends.

This session can be at any public or permitted location within the Rio Grande Valley. In case you do not have a specific location in mind, I do offer local recommendations.

Locations outside of 60 miles of Harlingen, TX 78550 will incur a $50 travel fee.

The session includes 60 minutes of shooting, 30+ photos (individually edited, high resolution, in color and black&white), and print release on all photos.

You may also book a mini session, which will include 25 minutes of shooting, 15+ photos (individually edited, high resolution, in color and black&white), and print release on all photos.

  • My priority is that the photos portray YOU, and that you feel comfortable and confident. Throughout the entire session, I will place you positionally, and then give you simple prompts that will give your photos life, movement, and display genuine connection. In an in home session especially, I refrain from prompting or instructing too much. You will be surprised how well the magic unfolds on its own, with just a few easy prompts and careful (light) planning.

  • Be cohesive, NOT matching! Try sticking to a color palette, without wearing the exact same colors. Keep very busy prints to a minimum and stick to solids. Simple prints are welcome. Neutrals and earthy tones are always flattering, but I do encourage having one to two pops of color! (Red, yellow, blue or green)

  • Follow the link at the button below that says “BOOK,” and it will take you to a form where you can give me your contact info and select the type of session you would like. Soon after, I will contact you to either schedule a consult call or we can just chat via email! Once you are ready, your date and time will be secured with a (20% of invoice) payment and signed contract.

  • I recommend that you secure your date as soon as you can - so that the date and time is hopefully at your convenience.
